ABSTRACT
In section 1.iii we offered a proof of weak dualism, apparently establishing that conscious states are non-physical. Our task in the present section is to see whether we can construct a proof of strong dualism (sometimes called ‘cartesian dualism’ after René Descartes; more often simply called ‘dualism’).
