ABSTRACT
The Universal Industrial Church of the New World Comforter is a classic example of the fusion of ufology and New Age consciousness. Allen Michael (a.k.a. Allen Noonan), the founder of this ufology religion, alleges that he was contacted by extraterrestrials in 1947 while living in Long Beach, California. The aliens (sometimes referred to as angels) transported his spirit aboard a “Mothership of the Galactic Command Space Complex” where he experienced a cosmic revelation from the “Universal Mind of Extra Territorial Intelligence” (ETI), whose goal is to bring humanity the great news of world transformation and planetary enlightenment. Michael claims that he is both of extraterrestrial origin and has some two million entities incarnated in him.
