ABSTRACT
The phrase “New World Order” is widely employed by contemporary millenarians in the English-speaking world. It connotes an attempt by evil, conspiratorial forces to seize power, first in the United States and later over the entire world. This seizure of power is understood to be either imminent or already in progress and is believed to directly precede history’s final struggle between good and evil.
