ABSTRACT
A number of other rights have not automatically been included as volume rights – these include first serial rights, dramatic, film and television rights, and merchandising rights. These may be granted to the publisher in addition to the rights listed above, but it is increasingly likely that they will be retained by the author (or more probably the author’s agent) for direct handling.
