ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on three sports that each utilize ice skating as the common base for the activity. These activities are similar in that they use an ice surface and skating as the mode of locomotion, but they are extremely different and truly unique as sport activities. The three sports covered in this chapter are ice hockey, speed skating and figure skating.
