ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the development of distance learning materials. Before you develop the learning materials you will need to decide on a course design and develop a learner profile. Once this is completed you should develop a model to assist you design the course. The individual components of the learning materials can then be designed to allow interaction as the materials are the major way the learners learn.
