ABSTRACT

Preparing your own teaching and learning materials could end up being a complex task. Therefore, keep it simple (KIS) is the rule. The preparation of these materials should not eat into your time. The use of appropriate technology is encouraged. However, the materials you prepare are to assist in the teaching and learning process – they should not confuse or, worse, cause the learner to focus on the technology rather than the message. This chapter deals with the issues involved in preparing teaching and learning materials for use by you and your learners for a course that is already developed.
