ABSTRACT
The project description provides an introduction to the case-for-support, a description of the development project, its market context, the nature of the experience for the visitor, the benefits of the project, the design of the project, its delivery, and its operation once completed. The supporting appendices provide a range of more detailed information on which the project description is based. The case-for-support can be tailored to meet the needs of different funding agencies. Together, the two parts of the case-for-support provide readers with a clear understanding of the development project and its rationale and give them confidence in the museum’s management of the development project.
