Ultimately, of course, change in the museum may be regarded as for the better or for the worse, depending on your perspective. The change process however will be a lot less painful for all concerned if it is well considered and well managed and recognises that the success of the museum will be dependent on the interest and enthusiasm of the museum’s staff in meeting its objectives.
