ABSTRACT
Irrespective of the appliance rating, consideration should be given to the following items.
• An appliance should be room-sealed (i.e. not reliant on combustion air from within the room), or the room or space in which it is located should be provided with a ventilation opening. This may be via an adjoining room or space that also has the same size opening giving to the external air. Allowance should also be made for cooling air, where required.
