ABSTRACT
There is a danger with the topic of climate that the concept of environmental determinism becomes too rigidly embedded in the student’s mind as to how natural-human interactions take place. As The Environment illustrates, the Earth is more complex than this. The instructor should therefore emphasize the latter part of the chapter to stress the anthropogenic influence.
