ABSTRACT
WHAT TYPE OF BOOKS DO YOU WRITE? I set out to try and avoid writing types of books. I set out to create my new types that push back the boundaries of what's possible. So, I write fiction, non-fiction and a strange blend called 'faction'. I write a lot of history books - such as Horrible Histories and Tudor Terrors - because they're popular. I'm starting on science as my next challenge with The Spark Files - making science entertaining and accessible to young people and children.
