Oenomaus (early C2 ad) A Cynic philosopher from Gadara in Syria. Reference to him as Abnimos in the Talmud may indicate that he was a Jew. In imitation of his fellow citizen, menippus (1), he wrote Against Oracles, which is known to us mainly from Eusebius, who attacked his thesis quoting his work extensively.
