ABSTRACT
The Neolithic Revolution changed the world forever. No longer did the dynamics of human society depend primarily upon the strategy of family multiplication. The Neolithic Revolution enabled the generation of agricultural surpluses that could support specialized urban activities of an economic and military kind. And the fruits of specialization together with the introduction of new production techniques were reflected in growing material standards of living. Civilization brought with it not only the possibility of economic growth as well as economic expansion, but also the possibility of large-scale war and conquest. Civilization gave rise to the horsemen of war as well as the maker of the wheel.
