ABSTRACT
GM’s 1986 Buick LeSabre was one of the poorest quality cars sold in the United States, according to both independent evaluators such as J.D. Power and Associates market research firm and Consumer Reports magazine, as well as GM’s internal audits. The LeSabre’s windows were especially troubling: they rattled, failed to roll up, and even fell out of tracks on occasion.
