Almost every aspect of our daily lives involves learning and problem-solving. Whether we are at work, studying, playing sport, engaging in a hobby, watching TV or listening to music, we are continually adding to, and applying, our ever-expanding store of knowledge. The process of acquiring information and using it to our advantage (or disadvantage) begins at birth - and possibly before - and continues until death.
