ABSTRACT
The third category, temporal perspective, is dependent on context to an even greater degree than the other two. In relative contrast to short intervals and duration, temporal perspective alters radically with age, social context, and personality make-up. It is a measure of the way in which the individual integrates his temporal experience, developing, in the process, an attitude toward the past and future-determining to what extent they will impinge upon the experience of his present moments.
