ABSTRACT
In this chapter we consider a number of syntactic constructions, with emphasis on key morphemes rather than formal patterns. We begin with possessives, then turn to the closely related numeral phrases. This is followed by sections on interrogatives (§7.3), conditionals (§7.4), and complementizers (§7.5).
