ABSTRACT
This is our favourite cereal dish and foremost culinary discovery in twelve years of travel. It comes from the Adana province of Turkey, especially the floodplain called the Qukurova which borders the Mediterranean. We learned it from a Turkish villager named Meydiha who lived outside the city of Adana in 1965.
