ABSTRACT
Virtually all groundwater abstraction in the Jordan Badia Research and Development Programme area is from the Azraq Basin (Fig. 1), and abstraction from the Azraq Basin is concentrated in the three demand centres: Azraq, Umm al-Quttayn and southern Syria.
