ABSTRACT
THE XXIST DYNASTY most skilfully accomplished, and the fault of over-packing and distending the face has not been repeated. In spite of the skill the craftsmen had acquired in the very difficult operation of packing, it is curious that they did not make any attempt to model the bust, for the breasts are flattened and pressed against the body-wall. The arms were fully extended, in the first case the palms were turned inwards on the outer surface of the thighs, in the second were placed upon the front of the thighs.
