ABSTRACT

This Latham friendship and its affairs had cost Dickson his Edison connection and the associations in which he had enjoyed a share of the evolution of the motion picture.

Now, as will appear, Dickson had not given himself entirely to the Latham cause with his departure from Edison. This was indicated to a degree when Dickson's tentative quarter interest in the Lathams' Lambda Company was put into the temporary keeping of Edmond Congar Brown, a friend.
