EVERY studio was a guarded stronghold in 1907. Pictures were made behind locked and guarded doors. There were secret ways about everything.
All the makers of pictures were hiding their methods, mostly with the fear of being discovered in their infringements and in part because they had inventions and formulre of their own to guard.
