Paul Wilkinson is Professor of International Relations at the University of St Andrews and Director of the Research Institute for the Study of Conflict and Terrorism, and co-editor of the quarterly Terrorism and Political Violence. His publications include Political Terrorism, Terrorism and the Liberal State, and The Lessons of Lockerbie.
