ABSTRACT

A priority for many organizations is improving the efficiency of their business process workflows. Many companies are dominated by the flow of material, information or other business processes. Even where workflow is not so critical, it is rarely totally absent. There are few companies that do not at some stage need to perform some of the following tasks:

• raise purchase orders; • process customer orders; • process expense or travel claims; • recruit a new member of staff; • develop a new product or service.
