ABSTRACT
This final chapter builds on the evidence presented in previous chapters about children's understanding and experience of places and makes some suggestions for classroom practice. These suggestions are grouped for convenience under the headings knowledge, cross-curricular skills and the formation of attitudes and values in relation to people and places.
