ABSTRACT
In this chapter we continue our search for 'why'. This chapter focuses on the teachers and administrators: why they performed their jobs as they did and why they responded to human diversity as they did. This chapter begins with the teachers' and administrators' reasons for what they did. We then go beyond that, analyzing determinants of their work that they took for granted or unconsciously responded to.
