ABSTRACT
Tourism has taken a new dimension in both developed and developing regions of the world. While some economies depend almost entirely on tourism income, others have tourism as an important means of complementing their income or contribution to their balance of payment. For most developing countries, tourism represents unrealized developmental potential. In an effort to raise their general level of prosperity, many developing nations have embraced tourism to accomplish economic development.
