ABSTRACT

This herb is the dried rhizome of Atractylodes lancea (Thunb.) DC., A. chinensis (DC.) Koidz, or A. japonica Koidz of the family Compositae. The first is mainly grown in the Hubei and Jiangsu provinces, and the second and third are grown in Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Inner Mongolia of China, and Korea.
