ABSTRACT
On June 9, 1995, Japan's National Diet adopted a resolution commemorating the 50th anniversary of the end of the Pacific War. This article examines the political process which produced that document, entitled “Resolution to Renew the Determination for Peace on the Basis of Lessons Learned from History.”
