ABSTRACT
Charles Pierce enjoyed kidding his audiences at the Gilded Cage that Rio Dante would go home after the show and sleep, bat-like, hanging upside down from the rafters of his bedroom! That was because Rio had an uncanny resemblance to Count Dracula, and he enjoyed playing that image up by wearing all-black clothing, a flowing black cape with a high stand-up collar, with his black hair slicked straight back.
