ABSTRACT
This chapter will discuss the statistical picture of the regional patterns of Polish reforms in a wider Central European context. It will present the regional differentiation of the demographic processes, the labour market (with special attention paid to unemployment), industrial restructuring, foreign capital and privatisation. It will also give account of the new regional structure of economic power. These are the main processes which are shaping the new economic geography of Poland and which create grounds for future regional structures.
