ABSTRACT
The intensification of the class struggle on the ideological front cannot fail to provoke among petty bourgeois groupings a desire to influence the most important lever for the cultural improvement and education of the masses. The task of the Party is to strengthen in every possible way its guidance of the work of cinema organisations and, by ensuring the ideological consistency of film production, to fight resolutely against attempts to adapt Soviet cinema to the ideology of non-proletarian strata.
