ABSTRACT
The aim of this Unit is to help teachers to develop the skills that are required to assess children’s learning and understanding of science. Planning for assessment is another underlying theme, and its importance can be emphasized by linking this Unit with Unit 4, ‘Planning for Science: What Do You Need to Write Down?’.
