ABSTRACT

When taking a class of students out on a field visit never underestimate the unknown dangers that may lurk. Excitement, distractions and the mere thought of being outside school can so easily culminate in thoughtlessness on behalf of the pupils, which in turn can frequently lead to accidents no matter how well planned the visit was. So be well prepared, do your initial preparation in the safety of the classroom and make sure that each student knows what is expected of him or her.
