ABSTRACT
In today's technology-driven environment, the Web is increasingly being used to deliver learning materials to learners at a 'distance' who might never actually attend a class in a face-to-face environment. This chapter reviews a number of issues with respect to distance learning and presents an overview of the development and delivery of Web-based learning materials to the distance learner.
