ABSTRACT
A learner profile can be defined as a block diagram that outlines the various topics that have to be learnt in order for that person to complete the learning event successfully. The development of a profile can be completed in a half-day session or it can be extended over a number of days depending on the size of the profile and the group involved in the process. Once validated, the learner profile becomes part of your documentation and forms the basis for the development of the Web-based learning materials. This process is the same no matter whether you are developing Web-based, multimedia or print-based materials.
