Developing learning objectives

A useful learning objective is one that allows you to make the largest number of decisions relevant to its achievement and measurement. A meaningful objective is one that communicates intent by excluding the greatest number of possible meanings other than what you intended. This chapter describes the development of objectives and their uses in Web-based learning materials.
