ABSTRACT
Some people live close to the sea, while others have never seen it. It arouses strong feelings of joy, of fear, of respect and the children will be captivated by this exhilarating theme. The individual topics alliterate with the sea. They are seashore, shell, seagull, ship, shark and seal. Each separate topic will generate interesting projects for the children to explore, stimulating their creativity and their imagination, even if a visit to the seashore is not possible for your setting. In their play, the children will be continually developing their basic skills through the use of a whole range of resources including malleable and natural materials.
