ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts covered in proceeding chapters of the book. In this book, truthfulness is an attempt to represent fidelity rather than factuality. The author's representation of truth is filtered through a professional lens of instructional design and learning theory that has informed and driven his academic work. The book provides insights into how storytelling can accomplish a wide range of learning outcomes. However, continued inquiry will contribute to new and different ways of embracing digital storytelling as instructional strategy by learners, instructors, designers, and anyone who wants to share their knowledge. The literature cited in this book comes from multiple disciplines, organizations, and conceptual frameworks. There is no centralized venue for exploring digital storytelling, and author do not believes there should be. The book presents a tentative foray into taxonomy. Taxonomies are classification systems based on clearly defined traits or characteristics.
