TIP It always helps to fi rst set the tempo of your Pro Tools session to somewhere close to the actual tempo of the audio for which you wish to identify the beats. You can do this by trial and error, trying plausible BPM settings until you get close. Then the bars and beats in Pro Tools will not be too far away from those in your audio.
