ABSTRACT
This chapter is divided into two sections: First, there is a short introduction to the English law of contract, giving an indication of
some of the main issues that arise for discussion in subsequent chapters. The second section undertakes a more thorough analysis of some of the theoretical issues that arise in discussing contract law.
