ABSTRACT
The type-token distinction can be applied to all the truth bearers of chapter 2.2: not only to sentences but also to beliefs, statements and propositions. In the sense in which others may share my future-belief that Jim races tomorrow, this belief is a type, whose tokens are my belief, your belief, Jim’s belief, etc., that Jim races tomorrow.
