ABSTRACT
Contraception not only gives women protection against pregnancy, it also gives women power over their bodies. It allows women the opportunity to choose when to conceive or not, offering them the chance to develop their lives through education and careers. However, this also creates dilemmas: by having highly effective contraception women now have to decide when to conceive, and sometimes there never seems to be a right time to do this! Many women leave trying to conceive till late into their thirties, and then find they have difficulty becoming pregnan other women have contraceptive failures which may subconsciously stem from their desire to become pregnant.
