ABSTRACT
It is critical to distinguish between the aspects of a clinical manager (CM) compared with the task and activities combined with the upper level manager (ULM). While each area has some common ground issues, there are several very important distinctions which need to be made so that managers at each level have a clear understanding of what to expect and what skills are needed.
