ABSTRACT
Area A adjoins the central business area of our fictitious town and is bounded by two radial roads and a railway, as shown in Map 7. It contains a disused gasworks and some residential property whose present condition is considered by the local policy-makers to provide a clear case for comprehensive redevelopment.
