ABSTRACT
No one knows when Christianity first arrived in Africa. We find the story has already begun when we look at the first sources on Christianity, which date to around 180. In this chapter, we will present the possible origins of Christianity in Africa, and survey the earliest sources of Christianity, which range from 180 to 203 CE.
