ABSTRACT
Located in southeast Florida and the northernmost county in a three-county metropolitan area that includes Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Palm Beach County represents a divergent approach to both business resilience and disaster management. Practically synonymous with sunshine, beaches, and golfing, Palm Beach County has a multibillion dollar tourist industry, but has also shown great interest in targeting high-growth industries for economic development.
