ABSTRACT

Historically, criminologists have viewed the study of environmental harm as beyond the purview of the discipline. Today, however, studies of environmental harm are more frequent (Agnew 2011; Brisman 2008; Ellefsen et al. 2012; Eman et al. 2009; Gibbs et al. 2010; Lynch et al. 1989; Nurse 2013; Situ 1997; South and Brisman 2012; Stretesky 2006, 2008; Szasz 1986; Westerhuis et al. 2013). Nevertheless, studies within criminology that focus on zenvironmental harm are still rare.
