ABSTRACT
Judy is an 80-year-old woman who has been living at Sunset Homes, a residential care facility, for the past three years. She has problems dressing, bathing, and managing her medications, and she needs assistance with grocery shopping and making it to her doctor’s appointments. With only a modest income from Social Security, Judy relies on Medicaid to fund her care at Sunset Homes.
